Our team have prior experience in handling the charge entry process on various medical billing systems and for several medical specialties which helps them to understand the process easily and ensure in submitting a clean claim.
The documents will be sent to us in the form of superbills , encounter forms, charge sheets, etc . through FTP or secured cloud based application.
We will capture the date of service, place of service, referring provider, billing provider, admission date, CPT codes, DX codes, modifiers, no of units and map the appropriate diagnosis codes.
The charges are imported from the EMR and reviewed for accuracy before submitted to the insurance.
The pending charges are sent to the client for clarification, on a pre-determined format. We will follow up with the client on the clarifications needed and submit the charges.
The final charges are audited by the Quality team and the clean claims are sent to the insurance.
